About

Built by someone who reads decline reports for a living.

I'm Jeremiah. My day job is operations in a business that runs on monthly recurring billing, which means I spend real time inside failed-payment reports, retry logic, and card updater settings. TitheDesk started when it occurred to me that churches have exactly the same leak and almost none of the tooling.

Why churches, specifically

Because the work is kinder here. In most industries, chasing a failed payment means chasing a debt, and the conversation has an edge to it no matter how carefully you write. In a church, nobody owes anything. A giver set up a recurring gift because they wanted to, a card expired, and now the only thing standing between their intention and the church is that nobody told them.

That's not collections. That's telling someone something they'd want to know.

What we won't do. We will not write to a giver as though they owe money. We will not contact anyone who deliberately cancelled. We will not send a second message about insufficient funds, because someone in a hard season does not need their church emailing them twice about it. If any of that is what you were hoping to buy, we're the wrong vendor.

Being early

TitheDesk is new, and you won't find reviews here because there aren't any yet. The trade for early churches is straightforward: the Checkup is free if it finds nothing, the pricing is low for the work, and you deal with me directly rather than a support queue. In exchange I'd like honest feedback, and permission to use your church's name if it goes well.

Questions before anything else

Email me. I answer these myself, and I'd rather talk you out of the wrong thing than sell it to you. If you're on Pushpay, I'll probably tell you that you don't need us.
